Terms of Service
Last updated 6 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs Snagzi (“you”), and Edvardas Juckas, an individual based in Spain (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Snagzi you accept them. Shopify’s own terms continue to govern your relationship with Shopify.
1. The service
Snagzi adds a small game to your Online Store. Shoppers complete a short mission, such as catching a mascot, and can unlock a discount code that Snagzi creates in your Shopify store. You choose the campaign settings: goal, game, reward, expiry, minimum spend and appearance. Snagzi also reports plays, completions and codes issued. Snagzi requires the Online Store sales channel and a theme that supports app embeds (Online Store 2.0).
2. Plans, billing and allowances
- Plans, prices and any free trial are shown on our Shopify App Store listing and in the app. Paid plans are billed by Shopify, on your Shopify invoice.
- You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the app at any time, without contacting us. Changes take effect as confirmed by Shopify.
- Each plan includes a monthly allowance of plays. When it is used up, the game stops appearing for new shoppers until the next calendar month. Missions already in progress and rewards already issued are still honoured.
- To protect your allowance from automated abuse, we limit how many new games can start in your store each hour. The limit is set well above normal traffic for your plan.
- Fees already charged are not refunded, except where the law requires it or we decide otherwise.
3. Your responsibilities
- You decide which discounts to offer and you bear their cost. Codes created by Snagzi are ordinary Shopify discounts in your store; you can deactivate them in Shopify at any time. Codes already issued stay valid until they expire unless you remove them.
- You are responsible for making sure your promotions, reward conditions and shopper-facing wording comply with the laws that apply to your store.
- You are responsible for telling your shoppers how their data is used, including in your own store’s privacy policy, and for any consent you need from them.
- You must not use Snagzi to mislead shoppers, abuse Shopify’s platform, or interfere with the app, other stores or our infrastructure.
4. Data processing terms
When shoppers interact with Snagzi, you are the controller of their personal data and we process it on your behalf as your processor. These terms are your data processing agreement with us.
- Instructions. We process shopper data only to provide Snagzi as you configure it, and to meet legal obligations. Your campaign settings are your instructions.
- What we process. Hashed visitor and customer identifiers, game progress, pages visited during the game, issued codes and their redemption and, only for email campaigns with explicit shopper opt-in, email addresses. Our Privacy Policy lists this in full, with retention periods.
- Confidentiality. Only the operator has access to production data, and only to run, support and secure the service.
- Security. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Email addresses are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, identifiers are hashed with store-specific keys, and database backups are encrypted before storage.
- Sub-processors. Shopify (platform), Railway (hosting and database), GitHub (encrypted backups) and ntfy.sh (operator failure alerts containing only an event name and store domain). We will update this page before adding or replacing a sub-processor, and you may object by uninstalling.
- Location. Our application servers, database and encrypted backups are hosted in the United States.
- Data subject requests. We action Shopify’s
customers/data_request,customers/redactandshop/redactrequests, and help you respond to other requests you receive about Snagzi data. - Breaches. We will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your store’s data, with the information we have.
- Deletion. When you uninstall, your store’s data is deleted when Shopify sends its deletion request. Encrypted backups containing it expire within 30 days.
- No other use. We never sell shopper data, share it for others’ purposes, or combine it across merchants.
5. Availability and support
We work to keep Snagzi available and to fix problems promptly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is available at support@snagzi.app.
6. Intellectual property
We own Snagzi, including its software, mascots and artwork. You keep ownership of the content you add, such as your wording and uploaded images, and you give us permission to use it only to provide Snagzi to your store.
7. No guaranteed results
Snagzi reports plays, completions, codes issued and, where Shopify allows, orders that used a Snagzi code. These reports do not prove that Snagzi caused additional sales, and we do not promise any particular increase in traffic, orders or revenue.
8. Liability
Snagzi is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for Snagzi in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling Snagzi. We may suspend or end your use if you seriously breach these terms, or end the service for everyone with at least 30 days’ notice.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. For material changes we will give you notice in the app or by email before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and the courts of Spain have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory protections you have under the law of your own country.
